Welcome to our Outreach Ministry.

Being a lighthouse in the community is a very important part of the vision at Solid Rock. In Acts 1 we are told to be witnesses of Jesus in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. As a church family, we recognize that we are not contained by the four walls of Solid Rock, but called to put our faith into action by influencing our community, state and the far reaches of the world. We are committed to supporting neighborhood- and community-based services which are dedicated to providing creative solutions to unmet needs.

We provide ongoing support to local organizations such as:

• Boca Helping Hands, which ministers to the homeless and underprivileged
• First Care Pregnancy Center, which offers help, hope and counsel to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies
• Dunklin Memorial Camp, a Christian regeneration program providing a healthy environment with biblical instruction and work opportunities for men trapped in the bondage of chemical addiction
• 4Kids of South Florida, which provides hope for kids in crisis by offering love, support and direction
• Faith Farm Ministries, which offers residential services to men and women who have lost control of their lives due to alcohol or drug addictions

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, we contributed financially to Desire Street Ministries - a young boys school that eventually relocated to Tampa

World wide we support and minister to missionaries in Columbia, Honduras, Uganda and Haiti
